Established in 1890, St Bernards is one of the oldest lodges in the Drakensberg, offering stunning scenery, trout-filled waters, and rich history.

Our charming, TV-free thatched cottages, built in 1948, provide cozy comfort with queen/king beds and well-appointed bathrooms, perfect for reconnecting with nature. Enjoy meals in the dining room, relax in lounges with Wi-Fi, or socialize in the pub.

Activities include gardens, a pool, putt-putt, kids’ play, tennis, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, and scenic picnic spots. End your day by the fire or with games at the pub.

We also cater for special events of up to 120 guests. Under new ownership since 2023, the lodge is being lovingly restored for an exciting future.
