Malachite Manor is a “one of a kind” 4 star, AA Superior rated Guest House situated in the ‘Barriers of Spears’ uKhahlamba region of the Southern Drakensberg Park World Heritage Site.

Beautifully designed and handcrafted using Rhodesian Teak, Oak and Cypress Wood.  The unique combination of traditional & contemporary features, include 5 tastefully decorated rooms designed to cater for all your needs. 

Our Guests enjoy scrumptious breakfasts and intimate a la Carte dinners in the Manor Restaurant, a cosy bar with fireplace for those cooler mountain nights, a gallery library for lazy days, and a healing sanctuary offering various treatments. Our Boma and Deck are used for private functions and retreats.  Malachite Manor  provides a tranquil break away for the discerning traveler.  

Our Fully equiped Self Catering cottage sleeps 5, Very private and is pet friendly. Our cottage guests can enjoy meals at the Manor Restaurant.

We are surrounded by a wonderful array of  activities for you to experience during your stay. Hiking, bushman paintings, birding, canoeing, horse-riding, fishing and cycling are just a few ways to experience and appreciate the area’s abundance of natural beauty.
