With a newly refurbished kitchen and seating area, each rondawel offers one double bedroom, 3 single beds on a mezzanine floor, a decked balcony overlooking the gorge, an internal heating stove and a separate braai area for cooking under the stars.
If you’re looking for the most incredible group accommodation in the mountains, our stunning Log Cabin has been built just for you.
Lovingly made with beautiful yellowwood timber with a vast thatched roof, the Log Cabin features a gigantic open-plan downstairs living area, complete with kitchen and full timber bar counter, dining area and a comfy seating area all positioned around a fireplace to keep your guests warm and the atmosphere incredible throughout the evenings.
There’s also a large standing braai area and a wide deck to the front of the building for cooking under the stars, watching the mountains, and relaxing with a beer as the sun goes down.

En Suite: Nestled in each wing of the Backpackers Lodge, the en suite offers the comfort of your own shower room and views over the garden. It’s close enough to the action but removed enough to make your own space your own.
Twin Room: With 2 single beds and a desk, the twin room shares a bathroom in the Backpackers Lodge and has easy access to the kitchen and the relaxed seating and dining area. Nice views over the garden.
Double: The comfortable double rooms all share shower and toilet facilities in the Backpackers Lodge and have easy access to the kitchen and the relaxed seating and dining area. Perfect for couples, or spoiling yourself after a long hike with your own room and double mattress.
Dorm: The gold standard of backpacking, tried and tested, affordable and sociable, meet other travelers without breaking the bank and be part of the lively community at the Lodge.
