The charming Himeville Museum is considered to be among the best rural Museums in the country. Built in 1899, it offers a wide and interesting range of exhibits.
There are fossils and Stone Age artefacts; a comprehensive display on the Bushmen, as well as African beadwork and artefacts. Each room adds further interest to the fascinating history of South Africa. The displays also show the life of early settlers, the Anglo Boer War and the two World Wars.
