Dunford’s Loft is situated in the village of Himeville in the Southern Drakensberg of Kwa–Zulu Natal , 5 Kms from Underberg.

You will enjoy warm, friendly hospitality in a relaxed environment with unparalleled views of a World Heritage Site, The Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park just kilometers away.

We understand the need to get away for a while from the hectic pace of modern life and the pressures it brings. Come and enjoy a break that will afford you time to relax and re-charge the batteries. Having said that, there are more than enough facilities on our doorstep for those who enjoy more outdoor activities.

SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION

Pin Oak Cottages (Pin Oak 1 sleeps 2 & Pin Oak 2 sleeps 4-5):
These cottages are newly built units. One comprises an open plan, fully fitted kitchen, lounge with fireplace, bedroom with shower and toilet, verandah with views to mountains. The other has the same configuration with an additional bedroom. There is armed response and a security system. A cot / child’s bed can be provided.

Maple Cottage (sleeps 4-6 people):
Maple Cottage comprises an open plan fully fitted kitchen, lounge with fireplace. There are two separate bedrooms with separate shower room. A double sleeper couch is available in the lounge. The verandah enjoys views of the mountains. Braai facilities are provided.

Dunfords Loft:
• The Yellow Room – double bed and cot (can be replaced with single bed), separate shower room
• The Blue Room – double bed, single bed and cot, with full en-suite bathroom

In addition to the two bedrooms, there is also an open plan lounge (with two double bunks). DStv is provided and there is a fully fitted kitchen for catering purposes. There is an outside verandah with braai facilities.
